The Indira School of Communication, which is a part of the Indira Group of Institutes, Pune bagged the prestigious ‘Best Media School of the year’ award at the fifth edition of Indy’s awards at the Hotel Taj Land Ends, Mumbai on February 9, Wednesday.
Indy’s, a private organisation, recognises excellence in mass communication, marketing communication, advertising, branding and public relations. The awards were given away at a glittering ceremony amidst the presence of top industry professionals from various sectors.
Apart from the best media school award, the ISC, , bagged three other honours at the Indy’s ,including best communication plan for placement, best communication plan for admission and best school with academic input syllabus in mass communication.
Present at the ceremony were Prof. Chetan Wakalkar, Group Director, IGI, Asmita Dani, Director, Prof. Pradip Dixit, Advisor, Yamini Thote, Placement Manager, and present and past students of Indira School of Communication.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Dr. R. L. Bhatia, management expert and the brain behind Indy’s elaborated, “The Indy’s awards are given for corporate or individual contribution towards building excellence in the specified sectors.
